As part of this journey, we're looking for an exceptional Release Train Delivery Lead - Operations to lead a critical delivery stream and help deliver one of the organisation's most significant transformation initiatives.

What’s the role?

Reporting to the Head of UNITE Delivery, you will be accountable for the successful delivery of outcomes that ensure our operational teams are prepared, capable and ready to support the implementation of significant business and technology change.

This is a highly visible leadership role with responsibility for driving delivery across a complex portfolio of work while influencing strategic outcomes through executive and governance forums.

As a highly visible member of the programme leadership team, you will regularly engage with executive stakeholders and governance forums, influencing critical decisions and helping deliver one of the organisation's most significant transformation initiatives.

What you'll be responsible for:

  • Managing financial planning, forecasting and budget oversight across significant investment portfolios.
  • Building strong partnerships across Product, Technology, Risk, Finance and Operations.
  • Leading workforce and resource planning activities across the Release Train.
  • Leading and inspiring a team of Delivery Leads, Programme Managers and Project Managers.
  • Ensuring delivery and operational readiness activities are completed to support customer migration events.
  • Providing clear reporting, insights and recommendations to executive stakeholders and governance forums.
  • Driving delivery consistency, risk management and governance excellence across the programme.

What do I need?

  • Extensive experience in research management, business strategy, data analytics or equivalent within the financial services industry
  • Strong background in applied research, operational management, innovation in core practices market research
  • Significant experience in leadership roles, including leading teams
  • Ability to translate technical skills into business strategy
  • Experience in qualitative and quantitative research (desirable)
  • Financial Services experience essential
