Full job description
We are currently seeking a passionate and personable Outdoor Adventure Facilitator to join us at PCYC Capricorn Coast based at Yeppoon. If you have a keen interest in adventure-based and experiential learning, then we want you!
The Capricorn Coast Development Centre, located in Yeppoon, aims to inspire young people to be self-aware, to build their social skills and contribute positively to their community.

Your New Role
Reporting to the Capricorn Coast Program Services Supervisor, you will lead and deliver safe and effective experiential learning and adventure-based programs for young people. It may also include some support functions such as program planning and logistics. We’re committed to fostering a supportive, respectful, and positive atmosphere where everyone is welcome. About You
- Recognised industry accreditation and experience across various adventure activity disciplines e.g. Certificate 3/4 in Outdoor Recreation, Vertical or Swift Water Rescue Accreditation etc.
- Experience in outdoor education, with the ability to facilitate groups of a variety of ages, backgrounds and towards program goals
- Drivers’ License
- Hold a current First Aid and CPR certificate (or able to obtain)
- QLD Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
