Toplift Forklift Operator – Tennyson Depot

  • Permanent Full-Time
  • 12-Hour Rotating Shifts
  • Training Provided

Join Pacific National – Australia’s largest private rail freight operator

Every day, Pacific National moves the goods that keep Australia moving – from intermodal containers to coal, steel, and bulk commodities. We’re now looking for a safety-focused, hands-on Toplift Forklift Operator to join our team at the Tennyson Depot.

This is your opportunity to be part of a high-performing team that plays a vital role in loading and unloading freight safely and efficiently.

What You’ll Do

  • Operate specialised load lifting equipment to move freight on and off trains and wagons
  • Plan and execute safe load movements using Toplift Forklifts and other terminal equipment
  • Identify load characteristics and secure equipment after use
  • Complete reports and maintenance logs as required
  • Work a rotating 12-hour shift roster including days, nights, and weekends

What You’ll Bring

  • Heavy forklift licence (essential)
  • CV High Risk Licence
  • Full Driver’s Licence
  • General computer proficiency
  • Experience in transport, logistics or rail (advantageous)
  • Warehousing background will be strongly regarded
  • Safety-first mindset and strong accountability
  • Team player with a proactive attitude

Training available for the right candidate – bring a great attitude, we’ll teach the rest.
