Reporting to the Practice Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our busy clinic. This is a varied position that combines front-of-house administration with occupational health screening, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.

Previous experience in medical administration, healthcare, reception or occupational health will be highly regarded, but is not essential as comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided to the successful candidate.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As part of our clinic team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Welcoming clients and providing exceptional customer service
  • Managing reception and general administrative duties
  • Processing medical bookings and appointments
  • Managing medical results and documentation
  • Administering health questionnaires
  • Conducting preliminary medical assessments
  • Collecting specimens, including supervising Drug and Alcohol Testing
  • Performing audiometry and spirometry testing
  • Preparing invoices and supporting general clinic operations

ABOUT YOU

We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in delivering outstanding service and thrives in a busy healthcare environment.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills
  • Outstanding customer service and communication skills
  • A high level of attention to detail
  • A proactive, positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • A current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), or the willingness to obtain one

WHY CHOOSE SONIC HEALTHPLUS?

When you join Sonic HealthPlus, you'll become part of a trusted national healthcare provider that genuinely invests in its people.

We offer:

  • Ongoing training and professional development
  • Career opportunities across a national network of clinics
  • Competitive remuneration
  • Paid parental leave
  • Novated leasing options
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
  • Discounts on travel, gym memberships and private health insurance
  • Discounted pathology, radiology and travel health services
  • Opportunities to participate in community initiatives and corporate social responsibility programs

HOW TO APPLY

If you're looking to join a respected healthcare organisation where you can build your skills and make a meaningful contribution every day, we'd love to hear from you.

Applications will be reviewed as they are received, so we encourage you to apply as soon as possible. The advertisement will close once a suitable candidate has been appointed.
