Support patients and clinical teams across our Wansey Dialysis Centres in a varied admin role where your organisation, initiative and people skills make a difference every day.

Employment Type: Permanent Part Time

Remuneration: $37.27 - $38.44 per hour + super
Location: Maitland and Raymond Terrace | Wonnarua and Worimi Country

Where you'll be working:
You’ll be joining the Wansey Dialysis Centres, working across Raymond Terrace on Tuesdays and Maitland on Wednesdays. This role is part of a multidisciplinary environment where administration officers work closely with nursing and medical staff to support the delivery of high-quality care to dialysis patients.

You’ll be welcomed into a collaborative and supportive team where communication, teamwork and a willingness to help are highly valued. Your contribution will play an important role in keeping our clinics organised and ensuring patients receive a positive and well-coordinated experience.

About the role:
As an Administration Officer, you’ll provide essential administrative support to the Wansey Dialysis Centres, helping our busy clinics run efficiently and supporting both patients and clinical teams.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Managing telephone and face-to-face enquiries
  • Coordinating clinic bookings and appointments
  • Maintaining accurate digital medical records
  • Ordering supplies and supporting general administrative requirements
  • Providing front-of-house support and assisting with the day-to-day management of clinics
  • Supporting education services provided to patients receiving care in their homes


This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys working with people, managing multiple priorities and contributing to a patient-focused healthcare service.

About you:
We’re looking for a motivated, organised and detail-oriented administration professional who brings a positive, proactive approach to their work.

You’ll be someone who:

  • Has a proactive, can-do attitude and is willing to assist wherever needed
  • Demonstrates strong time management and problem-solving skills
  • Is comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Has excellent attention to detail and understands the importance of confidentiality
  • Communicates confidently and professionally with patients, families and colleagues
  • Can effectively support nursing, medical and administrative staff in a busy healthcare environment



How you'll be supported:
You’ll be supported to settle into the role through comprehensive onboarding and hands-on training from experienced administrative staff within the General Medicine Unit.

Training will include hospital systems and processes relevant to your role, along with access to online learning and professional development through My Health Learning. Ongoing support will be available to help you build your confidence, develop your skills and succeed in the position.
