Who we are

We are a specialist medical practice with a difference. We provide a range of neurological services to people in the community.

We are seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist with excellent organisational and administrative skills to join our team on a part-time basis (16 hours per week).

The ideal applicant will have at least 1 year experience as a Medical Receptionist and previous experience working with medical software.

We are looking for someone who is confident, friendly, and helpful, and who enjoys working in a medical practice environment that values exceptional customer service and patient care.

About the Role

As a healthcare receptionist, you will be responsible for facilitating the flow of patients into and out of the medical practice. You will be the first point of contact and will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day running of the practice.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

· Co-ordinating patient bookings;

· Communications (responding to phone calls and emails);

· Handling billings;

· Re-stocking;

· General office administration;

· Using your creativity and experience to create more efficient medical processes and procedures;

· Provide excellent service to patients on the phone and in person.

About you

Essential Criteria:

  • Minimum 1 year experience as a Medical Receptionist
  • Experience working with medical software
  • Exceptional interpersonal and patient service skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
  • Proficient computer skills and confidence learning new software
  • Positive “can-do” attitude

Desirable Criteria:

.Experience using C2C Software

.Tyro/Medipass experience.

Pay: $23.00 – $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16.0 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Liverpool NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

  • Medical receptionist: 2 years (Required)

Work Authorisation:

  • Australia (Required)

Work Location: In person
