Location: Shaffa, Surry Hills & CANESS, Paddington.

Employment Type: Part-time (20 hours or 3 days per week) with occasionally weekend availability, in-person with possibility to go full-time after probation.

About the Role

We’re looking for a creative and highly organised in-house Content Creator to join our team and create content across Shaffa, CANESS and an upcoming third venue.

This is a hands-on role with a strong focus on photography, videography and social-first content creation. You’ll spend much of your time in our venues, camera in hand, capturing food, drinks, people, atmosphere, events and the everyday moments that bring each brand to life.

Beyond simply documenting what’s happening, we’re looking for someone who can find the story in it. You’ll develop recurring content series, bring campaign ideas to life and create engaging visual content that builds personality, recognition and genuine connection with our audience.

This would suit someone who loves being behind the camera, enjoys being part of a fast-paced hospitality environment and wants the opportunity to become deeply familiar with a group of brands rather than moving between freelance clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Ideate, plan, shoot and edit high-quality photo and video content across all venues.
• Regularly capture food, cocktails, wine, interiors, team members, chefs, events and venue atmosphere.
• Produce social-first short-form video, from simple food and behind-the-scenes reels to more considered, story-led concepts.
• Develop recurring content formats and series that audiences can recognise and engage with.
• Work closely with the marketing and venue teams to translate campaigns, menu launches and events into strong visual concepts.
• Edit photography and video to a high standard, including retouching, colour correction, sound design and colour grading.
• Maintain a consistent visual identity for each venue while allowing each brand to retain its own personality.
• Stay across relevant social and visual trends while keeping the content aligned with each venue’s brand.
• Organise and maintain the group’s photo, video and creative asset library.

Skills & Experience

• Ability to take a concept from idea through to shoot, edit and final delivery.
• Strong photography and videography skills, with a portfolio that demonstrates both.
• Confident shooting food, drinks, people and hospitality environments.
• Strong understanding of lighting, composition and visual styling.
• Strong video editing and visual storytelling skills, particularly for short-form social content.
• Confident with colour correction and grading across both photography and video.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere Pro, Lightroom and Photoshop.
• Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok and how content needs to be captured and edited for social.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Highly organised and comfortable managing multiple shoots, deadlines and venues.
• Previous food, hospitality, lifestyle or creative agency experience is highly regarded.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who genuinely wants to be an in-house content creator, not simply someone looking for occasional shoots.

Most importantly, you’ll have a strong creative eye, genuine curiosity and an instinct for storytelling. We want someone who can get to know each venue intimately and translate its food, people and personality into content that feels distinctive, consistent and worth following. No two days will look quite the same, but the camera will be a big part of most of them.
