We're looking for a Junior Retail Assistant to join our team every Saturday. This is an ideal opportunity for a high school student looking for their first job, someone interested in food, or someone who wants to learn valuable skills in retail and customer service.

This isn't a job where you'll stand behind a register doing the same thing every week. As your confidence and skills grow, so will your responsibilities.

Over time you'll learn:

• Customer service and sales
• Operating the register
• Sandwich making and food preparation
• Merchandising and product presentation
• Cheese tasting and product knowledge
• How to confidently recommend cheeses and other products to customers

Wages are based on the Fair Work Award.

Le Fromage Yard is an independent cheese shop based in Morningside. We pride ourselves on stocking one of Australia's finest selections of artisan cheese and gourmet products.

Our team ranges from high school students through to staff in their 50s. We work hard, support one another, enjoy a laugh together and genuinely care about delivering an outstanding experience for every customer who walks through our doors.

No previous retail or hospitality experience is required—we'll teach you everything you need to know. What we can't teach is the right attitude.

Hours

Every Saturday
9:00am – 2:30pm

As you develop, there may be opportunities for additional shifts throughout the year.

Christmas Availability

Christmas is our busiest and most exciting time of year. All team members are required to be available between 12 December and 25 December, as this is our peak trading period.
