Full job description

No previous work experience is necessary, and high school students are welcome to apply.

About Us

SNAP/SNAP is a creative photo booth and event entertainment company specialising in weddings, private events, corporate functions and major events across Australia.

We're a small, friendly and fast-paced team that takes pride in delivering memorable experiences for our clients.

We're looking for a reliable, organised and switched-on person to join our team and help prepare equipment and supplies for upcoming events.

This is a great opportunity for high school students, university students or anyone looking for flexible casual work.

About the Role

As our Event Equipment & Packing Assistant, you'll help ensure everything is organised, prepared and ready to go before our events.

You'll initially work alongside an experienced team member who will show you the ropes, guide you through our processes and help you become familiar with our equipment.

As you gain confidence and experience, you'll gradually take on more responsibility and work independently.

No previous experience is required! We're much more interested in your attitude, attention to detail and ability to learn quickly.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Preparing and packing photo booth equipment and event supplies
  • Following packing lists and checklists to ensure nothing is missed
  • Checking equipment and making sure everything is ready for upcoming events
  • Organising, sorting and restocking supplies
  • Assisting with basic computer-based tasks
  • Keeping our equipment and workspace clean, tidy and organised
  • Helping with general warehouse duties as required

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who's switched on, reliable and willing to learn.

Ideally, you'll be someone who:

  • Has great attention to detail - you notice the little things and take pride in getting things right
  • Has a good memory - you can remember processes and instructions once you've been shown
  • Learns quickly - you're curious, adaptable and comfortable picking up new skills
  • Is comfortable with computers - you don't need to be a tech expert, but being confident with technology is a big plus
  • Is organised - you like keeping things neat and in the right place
  • Is reliable and punctual - we need someone we can count on
  • Can work independently - once trained, you're comfortable getting things done without constant supervision
  • Has a positive attitude - you're happy to help out and aren't afraid to ask questions

Working Hours & Location

Location: Near Mawson Lakes, Adelaide

Employment Type: Casual

Hours: Flexible, depending on our event schedule.

Some shifts may be in the afternoon or evening, such as 4 pm - 9 pm, making this a great option for students balancing school, university or other commitments.

Hours may vary from week to week depending on how busy we are.

What We Offer

  • Flexible casual hours
  • A friendly and supportive team environment
  • Full on-the-job training
  • The opportunity to learn about event equipment and technology
  • A hands-on role with a variety of tasks
  • The chance to gradually take on more responsibility as you develop your skills

How to Apply

If you're organised, reliable, a quick learner and looking for flexible casual work, we'd love to hear from you!

Please apply with a brief introduction about yourself, your general availability and why you think you'd be a good fit for the role.

Pay: $20.00 – $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 20.0 per week
