Happy Hounds is looking for reliable, professional and experienced pet carers to join our growing team as independent subcontractors, providing dog walking, pet sitting, and house sitting services across the Gold Coast and Brisbane.

This role is ideal for individuals who genuinely love animals and are committed to delivering exceptional care and customer service. We are seeking team members who are dependable, organised and available to accept regular rostered work. While every day is different, our clients rely on us to provide consistent, high-quality care for their pets and homes, making reliability and professionalism essential.

As a Happy Hounds subcontractor, you will be supported by an established and respected pet care business that has been caring for pets across the Gold Coast and Brisbane for over a decade. You will be part of a team that values trust, communication, and outstanding service.

Please note: This is a subcontractor position (super included). We service most areas of the Gold Coast and Brisbane, so applicants do not need to be located in the suburb listed in this advertisement.

SERVICES PROVIDED:

• Dog Walking: 30-60 minute walks in the dog’s neighborhood, at the beach, or in the park (max 2 dogs at a time).
• Pet Sitting: 30-60 minute daily visits to care for dogs, cats, and small animals.
• House Sitting: Overnight stays in clients' homes to care for pets while their owners are away.

• Able to work independently and use good judgment in various situations.
• Able to manage a schedule and demonstrate excellent time management.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

✔ You must be over the age of 18 years old

✔ Public liability insurance

✔ Driver’s license & reliable vehicle

✔ Mobile phone & data plan

✔ Experience with pets

✔ Pet First Aid Certification

✔ Flexible schedule
