Full job description

Onsen Japanese, located in the heart of Melbourne CBD, is looking for an experienced and reliable Part-Time Kitchen Staff to join our team. If you are passionate about Japanese cuisine, fast on your feet, and ready to work in a dynamic kitchen environment, we would love to hear from you!

Job Details

  • Position: Part-Time Kitchen Staff
  • Hours: Approx. 24 hours per week
  • Location: 609 Lonsdale St, Melbourne VIC 3000

Working Schedule (Must be available during these times)

  • Monday to Friday: 4:00 PM – 8:30 PM OR 6:00 PM – 10:30 PM
  • Wednesday Morning: 10:30 AM – 3:00 PM

Requirements

  • Prior kitchen experience is highly preferred.
  • Fast learner with great attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency.
  • Valid Australian working rights (Working Holiday Visa, Student Visa – Cookery course students are highly welcome).
  • Commitment to working for at least 3 months or longer.

  • Wage: Paid at the legal Australian award rate (plus superannuation) after a 5-shift training period.
