We have a fulltime position available for a Qualified Baker

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

AQF Certificate IV or at least 3 years baking experience.

duties are following

  • Checking the cleanliness of equipment and operation of premises before production runs
  • to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
  • Starting or closing productions shifts.
  • Follow quality control and minimize wastage.
  • Preparing recipes required to meet daily production.
  • Checking the quality of raw materials and weighing ingredients.
  • Kneading, maturing, cutting, moulding, mixing and shaping dough of different types including white, wholemeal, rye, sweet, country, multigrain etc.
  • Preparing dough and baking the shaped dough into breads, rolls of different shapes.
  • Monitoring oven temperatures and product size and appearance to determine baking times.
  • Coordinating the forming, loading, baking, unloading, de-panning and cooling of batches of bread, rolls and pastry products.
  • Operating machines that mix, cut, divide, roll and mould dough.
  • Emptying, cleaning and greasing baking trays, tins and other cooking items- Team worker
  • - Well organized and reliable.
