Full job description

Riser is a small bakery focussed on quality and community. Our team's happiness is everything. The work culture is fun and creative, while remaining professional and efficient.

We're looking for a qualified pastry chef. Your normal work week will be a set roster of 4-5 days, including a weekend day. It will be a mixture of early morning baking and prep shifts with flexibility over peak times.

Role will include:

- mixing doughs and shaping different vienoiserrie products

- lamination of croissant and puff doughs

- various pastry and savoury prep

- use of convection ovens

- Keeping track of stock numbers and rotation

- Input into creating new products

Preference given to applications with experience with lamination.

Pay: $65,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
