What We Expect of You

  • A passion for culinary artistry and a desire to innovate in the pastry kitchen.
  • Background in high-end pastry kitchen is advantageous.
  • A proactive and upbeat demeanor that inspires excellence.

  • Qualifications in Patisserie III and IV or equivalent are preferred.

A Glance at What You Will Do

  • Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food.
  • Wash and peel. Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients.
  • Prepare and cook pastries according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist.
  • Prepare cold foods. Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers.
  • Monitor food quality while preparing food.
  • Set-up and break down work station. Serve food in proper portions onto proper receptacles.
  • Wash and disinfect kitchen area, tables, tools, knives, and equipment.
  • Learn and apply new techniques under the mentorship of senior chefs.
