About the role
Casual opportunity to provide a wide range of support services to clinical and non-clinical areas across the RBWH Herston campus. Primary duties include Infection Control Cleaning, Patient Transportation and Patient Handling within wards, operating theatres and clinics.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Cleaning duties which may include light and heavy cleaning tasks such as cleaning high and low, including walls, windows, ceiling, furniture, and fittings, and sweeping, dusting, vacuuming and polishing. Maintain all work areas in a clean and safe condition. Regular cleaning of the patients' rooms, bathrooms, corridors and toilets, general administration, clinical and public areas throughout the complex.
Change shower curtains on a regular basis in accordance with local procedure.
Removal and rehanging of curtains in the wards on a rotational basis for cleaning in accordance with agreed procedures.
