About the role
Provide comprehensive operational and patient support services at Bribie Island Satellite Health Centre, ensuring high-quality care delivery aligned with patient-focused care principles and quality management standards.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Undertake all environmental cleaning duties as per task outlines, cleaning schedules and in accordance with all relevant policies and procedures, ensuring the facility is maintained to a high standard.
Assist health care professionals in the provision of patient care work associated with the delivery of clinical support services by performing a range of basic non-professional tasks as directed by health care professionals, including transporting of patients from one area to another, turning and positioning patients in accordance with approved safe patient handling practices at all times.
Complete all waste removal services, including moving waste to the designated collection point, in accordance with all relevant task outlines, policies and procedures.
Operate a range of basic tools, equipment and machinery in accordance with the training provided and user guides.
Respond to task requests in a timely and courteous manner.
