The Role

You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the venues team, ensuring service delivery standards are met and continuously improved.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and managing the Venue Booking Services team
  • Developing, reviewing and implementing operational procedures and processes
  • Ensuring service level expectations and customer service standards are achieved
  • Supporting, coaching and developing staff to achieve team and organisational objectives
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiencies


What you’ll bring

  • Tertiary qualifications in venue management, events or arts administration or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing bookings, ticketing, website content and associated administrative processes in a high-volume community, cultural or events venue.
  • Proven ability to engage, lead and inspire others to achieve outcomes for the benefit of the organisation and community.
  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills with strong conflict resolution skills and the ability to deal with difficult customers.
  • Proven experience in delivering quality customer service and a positive, professional, and cooperative approach to working with others.
  • Demonstrated organisational and time management skills with a flexible approach to work and meeting deadlines.
