This is an exciting opportunity to join as Team Leader, Venue Booking Services where you will contribute to delivery of quality community services within a collaborative and dynamic local government environment.

The Role
You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the venues team, ensuring service delivery standards are met and continuously improved.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and managing the Venue Booking Services team
- Developing, reviewing and implementing operational procedures and processes
- Ensuring service level expectations and customer service standards are achieved
- Supporting, coaching and developing staff to achieve team and organisational objectives
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiencies
What you’ll bring
- Tertiary qualifications in venue management, events or arts administration or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated experience in managing bookings, ticketing, website content and associated administrative processes in a high-volume community, cultural or events venue.
- Proven ability to engage, lead and inspire others to achieve outcomes for the benefit of the organisation and community.
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills with strong conflict resolution skills and the ability to deal with difficult customers.
- Proven experience in delivering quality customer service and a positive, professional, and cooperative approach to working with others.
- Demonstrated organisational and time management skills with a flexible approach to work and meeting deadlines.
