Full job description

We are currently Looking for an energetic, experienced, and professional Medical Receptionist to join our practice at Penrith.

Job Description:

This position involves the day-to-day administration of a General practice. You will be part of a friendly medical team comprising of a practice manager, practice nurse, general practitioners, and part time allied health professionals.

Your duties will include, but will not be limited to:

- Supporting the Practice Manager with day to day administration of the practice

- Scheduling patient consultations

- Front desk reception and management of patient clinics

- Ensuring medical records are managed confidentially and efficiently

- Patient invoicing and receipting

- Data collection and maintenance of patient database

- Handle incoming and outgoing mail

- Scanning and linking patient correspondence, test results etc

- Management of medical software (Best Practice)

- Liaising with referring doctors, hospital staff and medical representatives

Successful candidates need to meet the following criteria:

- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist

- Experience with Best Practice software

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $28.00 – $31.00 per hour
