Job Title: Casual Bartender — Fire-Led Thai Fusion Venue (New Opening)

Pay: $34 – $36 per hour + tips
Schedule: Wed–Sat evenings, Sun day/evening. Mondays & Tuesdays off
Start Date: Late August 2026

About Soi Fire

Soi Fire is a brand-new fire-led Thai fusion venue opening in Potts Point in late August 2026. Bold, smoky, live-fire food, a tight cocktail-forward drinks list, and a room built for long, loose nights. We're looking for a bartender who can hold their own behind a busy stick and be part of building something from day one.

Key Responsibilities

  • Making cocktails from our list with speed, consistency and care
  • Pouring beer, wine and spirits to a high standard
  • Setting up and breaking down the bar each shift
  • Cash and POS handling, stock rotation, and bar cleanliness
  • Engaging with guests — friendly, quick, and genuinely present
  • Working with the floor team to keep service seamless
  • RSA compliance and responsible service at all times

About You

  • Previous bartending experience in a busy venue
  • Solid cocktail knowledge — classics and contemporary
  • Fast, clean, and calm behind the bar
  • Great with guests, no ego, no drama
  • Current NSW RSA certificate (Competency Card)
  • Full Australian working rights — no visa sponsorship available

Hours

  • Wednesday – Saturday: 4:00pm start until close
  • Sunday: 11:00am start until close (trading 12:00pm – 8:30pm, licence to 2:00am)
  • Mondays & Tuesdays off
