Chunn Thai Cuisine is a vibrant and authentic Thai restaurant nestled in the heart of Menai Marketplace. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional Thai flavors and memorable dining experiences to our local community. Our kitchen is a dynamic, fast-paced environment where passion for food meets culinary excellence.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We're seeking a talented and experienced Kitchen staff(1) to join our growing kitchen team. This is more than just a job – it's an opportunity to showcase your wok skills, work with fresh ingredients, and be part of a supportive team that values craftsmanship and dedication.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Execute high-volume wok frying with precision and consistency
  • Prepare dishes to order during busy service periods
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of wok station
  • Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure smooth service flow
  • Follow food safety and hygiene standards
  • Assist with basic prep work and mise en place
  • Contribute to menu development and kitchen improvements

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

✓ Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak service times
✓ Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
✓ Physical stamina to work long shifts in a hot kitchen environment
✓ Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
✓ Team player with positive attitude and strong work ethic

DESIRABLE (BUT NOT ESSENTIAL)

  • Experience with Thai cuisine or Asian cooking styles
  • Experience working in high-volume restaurants
