Southern Cross Care is seeking Part-time Personal Carers to join the care team at our Duhig Village Residential Aged Care Home in Holland Park.

Working under the direction of our Registered and Enrolled Nurses, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care that promotes the dignity, independence and wellbeing of our residents. You will deliver compassionate, respectful and individualised support with daily living activities, including personal care such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and mobility assistance, while responding to each resident's unique needs and preferences. Your caring approach and commitment to building meaningful relationships will help create a safe, comfortable and supportive environment where residents can thrive.

What will you bring to the role?
  • You will hold a Certificate III in Aged Care (or equivalent)
  • Medication Assist Competency (desirable)
  • You will have an understanding of Aged Care and Residents rights and responsibilities
  • You are dedicated to caring for older people to live their best lives
  • You will work well within a team environment and have a friendly approachable manner
  • Strong attention to detail and outstanding communication skills
  • You must be flexible with your availability of days and shift times
