This is an exciting opportunity for a Retail Pharmacy Assistant to join our fast-paced, growing business. With part-time, full-time and casual working hours available across our store network, the right opportunity is closer than you think!


At Chemist Warehouse Garbutt we have a supportive team where there’s always someone to help with any questions or queries! Our friendly, approachable environment makes it easy to feel part of the team.


There are plenty of opportunities to grow and learn! Team members can complete S2 and S3 training, a Dispensary Technician Course, or Certificate III in Community Pharmacy - giving them valuable skills for their career with us!


We also love celebrating and rewarding our team! Team members enjoy discounts, team incentives, Christmas parties, and pizza lunches. We also recognise long-term contributions with service awards at 5, 10, 15, and 20 years!


Our store is busy and vibrant, so there’s never a dull moment! No two days are ever the same, and there’s always something to do. A typical day might look like:


  • Helping customers with queries, keeping shelves stocked, and ensuring transactions run smoothly
  • Replenish stock and maintain inventory levels
  • Serve customers and process purchases through our POS system
  • Setting up displays for catalogue promotions

About you


  • Ability to work well in a team and autonomously

  • S2 & S3 trained & Certificates I–III in Community Pharmacy highly regarded

  • Excellent customer service with an eye for detail and accuracy

  • Strong communication skills with all stakeholders
