About the position
Council’s Family Health Support Services Department is looking for a motivated and organised Meals on Wheels Support Officer to join our team on a casual basis.
In this role, you will be provide high quality administrative support to ensure the smooth, timely, and accurate delivery of meals to eligible clients across our municipality. You will play an important part in maintaining service reliability and supporting vulnerable community members to receive essential daily nutrition.
The main responsibilities will include:
- Delivering customer-focused administrative support within a busy environment
- Preparing and maintaining accurate documentation to efficient meal delivery coordination
- Managing client enquiries in a professional and compassionate manner
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records
- Providing roster and operational support during staff absences and peak workload periods
This is a casual position offering varied weekday shifts (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays), supporting operational needs across the team.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience in office administration or business support
- Confidence using client management systems, rostering tools, and accurate data entry practices
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills and clear written and verbal communication
- The ability to work effectively with a diverse range of clients and colleagues
- National Police Check, Working with Children Check and current Victorian Driver License

This casual position is a Band 4A currently remunerated at $37.72 per hour, plus loading and superannuation.
