Join the Ragamuffin team – Australia’s experts in outdoor pet portraiture

Part-time role, based in Geelong, Victoria

Since 2010, we’ve photographed thousands of pets and raised over $200,000 for animal rescue. We believe in muddy paws, joy-filled moments, and making a difference for pets in need.

We’re looking for dog-lovers to join our team. If you're creative, friendly and happy to get covered in slobbery doggo kisses, then this could be the perfect role for you!

What you’ll be doing:

  • Assisting on dog photoshoots, with full training provided so you can move into a photography role
  • Run sales sessions over Zoom, helping our clients choose their favourite photographs, design their packages, and confidently closing each sale with warmth and professionalism
  • Phone calls with clients/leads
  • Email and SMS inbox — responding promptly and warmly to client messages
  • Occasionally assist at expos or dog events in Melbourne

Requirements

  • Interest in photography (full training provided, so no photography skills necessary)
  • Comfort around animals and exceptional patience is a must.
  • Own car (photoshoots are often at locations not accessible by public transport)
  • Saturday availability
