About the Role

We are looking for a Junior Creative + Content Creator who lives and breathes social media, design, and storytelling.

This role is all about bringing the Mad Mex brand to life through bold, engaging, and scroll stopping content. You will create content that drives restaurant performance, supports franchise growth, and connects customers to our Latin inspired world.

You will work across social media, design, photography, videography, and digital campaigns, making sure everything looks fresh, consistent, and full of flavour.

To Crush it in this Role, you’ll be doing:

1. Social Media Content Creation

• Create fun, social first ideas for TikTok, Instagram, Meta, and Snapchat
  Shoot short form photo and video content in restaurant and on location using a mobile phone
• Edit videos using CapCut and similar mobile tools
• Write captions, hooks, and on screen text that grab attention
• Help maintain a consistent and active social content calendar
• Support food photography for digital menus and marketing use

2. Design and Marketing Creative

• Design local area marketing materials such as posters, flyers, signage, and in restaurant assets
• Support the Graphic Design Manager with artwork updates, resizing, and new creative requests
• Prepare files for print and digital use across web, eDM, social media, and retail channels
• Assist with CRM assets including eDM templates, push notifications, and SMS copy
• Ensure brand consistency across all creative outputs
• Manage and organise design files and creative archives
• Stay up to date with design trends, social media content styles, and tools
• Support ad hoc creative and campaign projects

What you will bring

You will be someone who:

• Has strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
• Is confident in shooting and editing mobile first content for social media
• Understands what performs well on TikTok and Instagram
• Has strong organisation skills and can manage multiple deadlines
• Knows print production basics and digital asset requirements
• Has a strong portfolio showing design across print, digital, and socials
• A natural storyteller with a creative eye
• Confident working in a fast paced environment
• Curious about trends, culture, and new platforms
• Hands on and not afraid to get involved in content creation on the ground
• Proud of their work and focused on quality execution
• A team player who brings ideas and energy

Bonus Points (Extra Guac)

• Photography, videography, and editing experience
• Experience in retail or QSR environments
• Passion for food and Latin culture
• Experience with After Effects or Lightroom
