Are you a creative storyteller who knows how to capture attention through scroll-stopping videos, beautiful photography and engaging social media content?

Lollipop Collective is looking for a confident, energetic and highly creative Content Creator and Videographer to bring our stores, events and small-business community to life online.

We work with hundreds of incredible small businesses, helping them showcase their brands through our retail stores, major events and Royal Shows across Australia. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role for someone who loves being behind the camera, creating exciting content and working in a fun and supportive environment.

This is not simply a social media scheduling role. We need someone who is genuinely skilled behind the camera and can confidently plan, film, photograph and edit professional content from beginning to end.

You will also take responsibility for the ongoing management of our social media presence, helping us showcase Lollipop Collective and the hundreds of small businesses and brands we support across Australia.

You’ll create content for Lollipop Collective while also working directly with our small-business owners - visiting them onsite, capturing their products and helping them share the stories behind their brands.

With hundreds of different businesses, products and personalities coming through Lollipop Collective, the content is always changing. There will always be something fresh to film, someone new to meet and another story to bring to life.

About Lollipop Collective

Lollipop Collective creates retail and event opportunities for Australian small businesses to showcase and sell their products in high-traffic shopping centres and at major events, including Royal Shows across Australia.

We are a creative, energetic and fast-moving team that loves bringing brands to life, celebrating small businesses and creating exciting experiences for our vendors and customers.

With stores and events across multiple states, there is always something new to capture - from product launches and vendor stories to behind-the-scenes moments, store openings and major event activations.

About the role

As our Content Creator and Videographer, you’ll develop creative concepts, visit businesses, stores and events, film and photograph content, and transform it into polished social media and marketing material.

The role also includes social media management and general marketing support, including Canva design, branding, signage, newsletters and EDMs.

Key responsibilities

  • Plan, film and edit Reels, TikToks, advertisements and promotional videos
  • Capture professional product, lifestyle, event and brand photography
  • Visit small businesses onsite to film their products, processes and brand stories
  • Interview and direct business owners, helping them feel confident on camera
  • Manage content across Instagram, Facebook and TikTok
  • Create content calendars, write captions, schedule posts and monitor engagement
  • Produce content for organic social media and paid marketing campaigns
  • Design branded Canva graphics, promotional signage, newsletters and EDMs
  • Maintain consistent branding across our social media, stores, events and marketing
  • Attend store launches, events and Royal Shows, including interstate travel

About you

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Strong videography, photography and video-editing skills
  • Experience creating engaging short-form content for Reels and TikTok
  • Social media management and marketing experience
  • Strong Canva or graphic-design skills
  • A good understanding of branding and visual consistency
  • Confidence directing and interviewing people on camera
  • Creativity, initiative and excellent organisation
  • The ability to manage multiple brands, projects and deadlines
  • Flexibility to work occasional weekends and travel interstate when events are on
  • A current driver’s licence and reliable transport

A relevant qualification in screen production, photography, media, communications or marketing would be beneficial. However, the quality of your portfolio, practical experience and creative ability will be most important.

Why join us?

  • Work in a fun, supportive and creative environment
  • Create content for an ever-changing mix of businesses, products and people
  • Help Australian small businesses tell their stories and grow their brands
  • Travel to stores, events and major Royal Shows across Australia
  • Bring your creative ideas to life across content, social media and marketing
  • Join us part-time with the potential to progress to full-time
