Visual content is a huge part of our business at the Travel Shop! Between products, articles, and social media, the photos and videos that we display help draw in customers and open people's eyes to the beauty of Australia.

Whether you're going out on tours for photo shoots, analysing the visual displays on our websites, editing and improving content, or whipping up reels and creative social media posts, photographers and content creators are essential to our team. Work together with our writers, coders, graphic designers, social media experts, and marketing team to help make our websites and products as visually appealing as possible!

This position is fast-paced and exciting. We appreciate new ideas and creativity, and our dynamic team creates a fun and innovate work environment. You will also have the opportunity to work across our variety of brands in the Whitsundays, Cairns K’gari (Fraser Island), and East Coast Australia. As a photographer, you will most likely get to visit these incredible places yourself to capture content!

This position requires a home base in Airlie Beach or elsewhere in East Coast Australia. You must be able to accompany staff and guests on photo shoots around the country. There may be opportunities for travel around the country as well, but it's important to be based somewhat locally so you can engage in the nearby photo shoots.

Previous photography and videography experience
An awesome portfolio (travel content highly favoured)
