About Us:
Wickams Creek Pastoral is a 200-hectare family farm that’s been in the family for 45 years
We’re passionate about being a safe, sustainable and innovative provider of quality dairy milk to our community through continuous innovation and expansion.
Milking 600 mostly Friesians cows on a 44-unit rotary with a split calving herd, with a mix of pivot, sprinkler and flood irrigation, in the last 3 years we have upgraded our dairy system, installed two centre pivots, sprinklers, energy saving pumps , canola feeding capability and more.
None of this would be possible without our team. We’re passionate about finding the right people to partner with and our current team on farm have over 120 years of combined dairy experience and a reputation in the community for a respectful and welcoming culture.
Located just 5 minutes out of Maffra and 20 minutes from Sale, we have access to all the town facilities whilst working in a beautiful rural area.

About The Role
Reporting to the Business Manager, we are looking to employ someone passionate about farming with effective supervision skills and experience in herd health, pasture rotation, dairy operations, irrigation and general farm activities
What You Need To Succeed:
· Demonstrated experience and achievement in a medium or large enterprise in a supervisory role.
· A track record of effective supervisory skills including organising and delegation.
· Experience in herd health, pasture rotation, dairy operations, and irrigation
· An agricultural degree or other certification is advantageous.
· Good communication and reporting skills
· Current driver’s licence
· A demonstrated commitment to improvement and learning.
