For more than 35 years, Tuga Pastries has been bringing a little taste of Portugal to Sydney. As a proudly family-owned bakery, we're known for our artisan breads, handcrafted pastries and our famous Portuguese Tarts that have built a loyal following across the city.

As our business continues to grow, we're looking for reliable Overnight Delivery Drivers to join our team based in Marrickville.

Our overnight drivers play a vital role in ensuring our cafés and wholesale customers receive fresh products before the city wakes up.

About the Role

  • Overnight shifts commencing from 10:00pm
  • Typical shift length of 7–8 hours
  • Permanent and casual opportunities available
  • A variety of shifts available across Monday to Sunday
  • Company vehicle (automatic transmission) provided for all deliveries
  • Service a dedicated delivery run across Sydney and surrounding areas, delivering fresh bakery products to our cafés and wholesale customers.
  • Full training provided, including delivery routes and customer locations

What You'll Be Doing

As an Overnight Delivery Driver, you'll help keep Sydney supplied with fresh Tuga products by:

  • Loading and unloading your delivery vehicle
  • Completing multi-drop deliveries to cafés, restaurants and wholesale customers across Sydney
  • Delivering products safely, accurately and on time
  • Maintaining a clean and well-presented delivery vehicle
  • Refuelling and completing basic vehicle care
  • Working closely with our bakery team to ensure orders are prepared for dispatch
  • Providing friendly customer service when interacting with customers
  • Following all road safety and traffic regulations

About You

You'll be someone who:

  • Has at least 12 months' experience in a similar delivery role
  • Holds a current, unrestricted Australian Driver Licence
  • Has a safe driving history
  • Is willing to undergo a National Police Check as part of the pre-employment process
  • Has previous multi-drop delivery experience
  • Is physically capable of regular lifting and manual handling
  • Can work independently while managing delivery schedules
  • Is reliable, punctual and takes pride in their work
  • Has strong communication and customer service skills
