With a bustling open kitchen and a tranquil, leafy ambience, Sandalford offers an inviting dining experience that delights all the senses. We are currently seeking a passionate and professional Trade Waiter to join our dedicated hospitality team on a full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Setting and arranging tables prior to service
  • Politely greeting patrons and providing a warm, welcoming experience
  • Answering customer enquiries and delivering excellent customer service
  • Taking reservations and seating customers
  • Presenting, explaining, and making recommendations from the menu based on guest preferences
  • Taking food and beverage orders and communicating clearly with kitchen and bar staff
  • Serving food and beverages in a timely and professional manner
  • Preparing beverages, including supplying, dispensing, and mixing alcoholic drinks
  • Refilling beverages and attending to guest needs throughout service
  • Collecting payments and operating point-of-sale, cash register, and reservation systems
  • Clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables for the next service
  • Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe dining and service environment at all times

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year relevant experience in a similar role
  • Certificate II or III in Hospitality, or equivalent relevant qualification
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional presentation and a team-oriented attitude

Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
