Policy Officer
Department of Parliamentary Services
- Fixed-term, part time (0.6FTE) Parental Leave backfill until August 2027, full time may be considered
- PoV Grade 4 ($100,894-$114,476) pro rata + 12% superannuation
About the role
Play a key role in strengthening policy, governance and audit processes across the parliamentary departments, supporting senior leaders to deliver effective, well-informed decision-making.
- Drive the development, review and implementation of policies and governance processes
- Coordinate and report on internal audit activities, including tracking progress and preparing committee reports
- Develop high-quality briefing materials, reports and stakeholder communications for senior leadership
About you
You are a proactive and detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and the ability to build effective working relationships in a complex environment.
- Strong written communication skills, with experience preparing clear and concise reports and briefings
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively with senior stakeholders
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with a collaborative and solutions-focused approach
