City of Moreton Bay is excited to launch recruitment for multiple Divisional Officer and policy positions. These newly created roles have been established to strengthen support for our Mayor and Councillors and help them deliver meaningful outcomes for the communities they represent.
In these roles you will work closely with your assigned elected representative, providing strategic and operational support that helps shape and enhance our communities, both now and into the future.
Whilst the role may vary depending on the approach, it could see you focused on:
Build and maintain strong connections with community stakeholders
Monitor local issues, emerging trends and community priorities
Coordinate communications and social media activities
Prepare briefings, correspondence, reports and information materials
Undertake research, policy analysis and strategic advice
Support informed decision-making and effective community representation

Full-time |appointment through to early 2028
Multiple opportunities available
$111,788 per annum + 12% superannuation (Level 6)
With the policy focused role supporting the Mayor $123,300pa + 12% super (level 7)
