POSITIVE BEHAVIOUR SUPPORT PRACTITIONER

Including You is seeking an experienced Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner to deliver high-quality, community-based support to adult NDIS participants. You’ll have the autonomy to manage your caseload while working alongside our Allied Health Manager to develop and grow our Behaviour Support service.
YOUR IMPACT
- Conduct functional behavioural assessments
- Develop and lodge Interim and Comprehensive Behaviour Support Plans through PRODA
- Train families, carers and support teams in plan implementation
- Monitor outcomes and refine evidence-based strategies
- Support the reduction and elimination of restrictive practices
- Prepare clear reports for NDIS plan reviews
- Help shape clinical resources, systems and service processes
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- A relevant qualification in social work, psychology, occupational therapy, behavioural science or a related field
- At least two years’ behaviour support experience
- Proficient or Advanced NDIS practitioner suitability
- An NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner identification number
- Strong ethical, person-centred practice
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills
- Current driver’s licence and access to a registered vehicle
- NDIS Worker Screening Check and Victorian Working with Children Check
- Current First Aid, infection control training and NDIS Worker Orientation certificate
