We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team—people who are committed to going above and beyond for our community, our clients, and each other. We are specifically looking for experienced Disability Support Workers, particularly those with a background in supporting individuals with high behaviours and mental health challenges. Responsibilities of the role

  • Support clients in leading an active lifestyle and engaging with their community through person-centred programs and meaningful activities.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with people from diverse backgrounds, gender expressions, personalities, and cultures.
  • Utilise positive behaviour strategies, a person-centred approach, and a trauma-informed lens to provide effective support.
  • Assist clients with personal care, hygiene, meal preparation, medication management, community access, and appointments.
  • Maintain accurate progress notes and ensure thorough record-keeping.
  • Demonstrate strong computer, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Apply transferable skills in providing care, empathy, and support to others.
  • Respectfully assist with personal care and domestic duties, ensuring dignity and independence.
