Do you enjoy helping people, thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in delivering outstanding customer service? If so, we'd love to hear from you. Join our Walk-in Centre team and play a vital role in supporting consumers and contributing to safe, high-quality patient care.

As an Administration Officer at the Walk-in Centres, you will provide patient-centred support to consumers accessing the service. As the first point of contact, you will greet consumers, consult with them to establish their needs, and demonstrate respect, sensitivity and confidentiality in every interaction.

In this role, you will perform a range of administrative functions that contribute to the delivery of safe, client-focused patient care. You will examine and direct incoming correspondence and telephone enquiries, enter and update client information within databases, and maintain accurate records in line with organisational requirements. You will also support and promote the CHS values of Reliable, Progressive, Respectful and Kind, recognising the important role these values play in the holistic operation of the Walk-in Centre.

To be successful in this position, you will possess excellent customer service skills, the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to contributing to a positive workplace culture. You will work effectively within a team and have a strong understanding of the importance of sensitivity, professionalism and confidentiality.

Please note:

• The successful applicant will need the ability to work across all ACT Walk-in Centres.
• This is a part-time shift working role requiring the ability to work a rotating roster with varying start/finish times between 7.30am and 22:30pm as well as weekends and public holidays to meet the operational requirements of the centre.

Note: This is a temporary position available for a period of nine months with the possibility of extension and/or permanency. This is a part-time position (18.38), and the salary noted above will be paid pro-rata.
