Salary Range: $86,600 - $124,725 pending experience + Super + Allowances
Join our team as a Primary Teacher at Our Lady of Lourdes Primary School, Ingham!
We’re looking for a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher with tertiary qualifications and registration (or eligibility) with the Queensland College of Teachers. This role is for Terms 3 & 4 and will conclude on the 4th of December 2026.
In this unique role, you’ll be teaching Year 5, joining a supportive team of dedicated educators who work closely with families to create the best possible learning experience for every child. Your knowledge of contemporary teaching practices, combined with your ability to adapt and nurture a diverse range of learners, will ensure that each student feels included, valued, and confident as they begin their educational journey.
In your classroom, you’ll spark curiosity and a love of learning by designing engaging lessons, setting clear expectations, and continually reflecting on your practice to keep improving. You’ll use a range of assessment tools to understand each student’s progress, celebrate their growth, and give meaningful feedback that helps them thrive.
Guided by Catholic values, you’ll embrace the school’s mission, prioritise student safety and wellbeing, and help create a welcoming, supportive environment where every learner feels they belong.
Nestled between lush cane fields and the stunning rainforest, Ingham offers a relaxed regional lifestyle with a genuine sense of community. Just an hour north of Townsville and a gateway to the breathtaking Hinchinbrook Island and Hinchinbrook Channel, it’s the perfect base for exploring tropical beaches, waterfalls, and nature trails. With its welcoming spirit and easy access to nature, Ingham is a great place to live and work.
