What you'll be doing:

The Telecommunications Team Leader is responsible for the day-to-day running of the Switchboard and Telecommunication Services. These incorporate PABX/VoIP/Spectralink telephone services, MIE (Message Integration Engine) and Paging services, emergency communication and general telecommunication policies and procedures development and training.

Selection Criteria:


  • Relevant qualification and/or experience in a Supervisor/Team Leader role.
  • Relevant qualification and/or experience with Telecommunications technology.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate in a busy Switchboard environment.
  • Ability to carry out and assist in developing emergency/disaster procedures.
  • Sound knowledge of computer software packages.
  • Demonstrated ability to work a 24 hour rotating roster undertake on call responsibilities.
  • Current NSW Drivers Licence (P1 and P2 licence acceptable), and/ or willingness to travel in accordance with the demands of the position.
