Fitter / Mechanic Technician | Mercedes-Benz Brisbane MBQ Autobody


Mercedes-Benz Brisbane – MBQ Autobody is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Fitter / Mechanic Technician to join our dynamic team. This role involves both disassembly and assembly of mechanical components as well as vehicle dismantling and assembling in preparation of panel repairs, including the installation, alignment, and adjustment of panels and accessories. Training will be provided.


You will work in a premium facility alongside a team of professionals committed to excellence, innovation, and delivering an exceptional customer experience that reflects the Mercedes-Benz brand.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out mechanical diagnosis, servicing, and repairs on a range of Mercedes-Benz vehicles (passenger and light commercial).
  • Perform autobody fitting and component replacement including doors, panels, bumpers, trims, and accessories.
  • Remove and install mechanical and body components as required for repairs or upgrades.
  • Follow manufacturer guidelines, repair methods, and safety standards at all times.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic (Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology or equivalent).
  • Previous experience in autobody fitting or vehicle assembly preferred but not required
  • Experience with European or prestige vehicles (Mercedes-Benz experience highly regarded).
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
