We're looking for a Content Creator to join our Marketing team and bring Yo-Chi to life across our social and digital channels.

This role is all about creating content that people actually want to watch, share and engage with. From filming in our venues and jumping on the latest trends, to bringing campaigns and new product launches to life, you'll be hands on across the full content creation process.

Working closely with our Social Media and Marketing teams, you'll help shape how Yo-Chi shows up online, making sure our content feels fresh, relevant, unmistakably Yo-Chi and always connected to our community.

What you'll do:

Create, film, edit and publish engaging photo, video and graphic content across Yo-Chi's social channels
Bring creative briefs, campaigns and product launches to life through fresh, fun and culturally relevant content
Be hands on in our venues capturing products, team moments, new openings and the Yo-Chi experience
Ideate and create reactive, trend led and community focused content
Keep across TikTok, Instagram and emerging platforms, spotting trends and opportunities for Yo-Chi to join the conversation
Plan and coordinate photoshoots, including shot lists, props, locations and creative requirements
Be hands on during shoots, helping direct content capture, style products and make sure we get the right shots
Create and coordinate digital screen content across our venues
Work closely with Marketing, Social, Design, Talent and Operations on campaigns, brand storytelling, recruitment and internal content
Support campaign rollouts through content, copywriting, community engagement and real-time content
Use engagement and performance insights to understand what's working and continually improve
Push the boundaries of how Yo-Chi shows up digitally, testing new formats, ideas and platforms

What we're looking for:

Previous experience in content creation, social media, digital marketing or a similar creative role
A strong portfolio or examples of social content you've created
Confident shooting and editing video and photography, with a strong eye for composition, styling and detail
A natural understanding of what makes content engaging, shareable and relevant
Someone who lives and breathes social media and is constantly spotting trends, ideas and opportunities
Creative, curious and willing to push the status quo rather than just follow what's already being done
Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok and short-form video content
Great communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across different teams
Highly organised, proactive and comfortable managing multiple content projects at once
Flexibility to travel interstate and work outside standard hours from time to time for venue openings, events and content opportunities

The role
This is a hybrid role that is based primarily from our Hawthorn office, with a minimum of 2 days in the office each week, plus plenty of time out in our venues filming and creating content. Interstate travel will also be required from time to time, particularly around venue openings.

Our Hawthorn office comes complete with an on-site chef (free breakfast & lunch daily!), free parking, an on-site gym and a dog friendly workspace.
