  • Partnering with business data owners and stewards to define target data quality thresholds for critical data, provide advisory support, and promote data quality maturity across business operations.

  • Identifying, analysing and reporting data quality issues by tracing errors to root causes, communicating findings through clear visualisations and storytelling, and reporting results to governance forums and working groups.

  • Supporting the development and execution of data quality controls, including preventative, detective and corrective mechanisms to ensure critical data remains accurate, complete, consistent, and fit-for-purpose.

  • Coordinating data correction activities — prioritising remediation with data owners and technical teams, documenting requirements, tracking progress, and monitoring resolution outcomes.

  • Maintaining metadata, lineage and catalogue information to ensure business integration, change alignment, and ongoing transparency of how data is used, transformed, and governed.

  • Conducting hands-on data analysis to reconcile and interrogate data assets, identify patterns and anomalies, and support regulatory, business or governance requirements emerging over time.

  • Proactive risk management control development and embedment – Supporting with risk, management requirements, control effectiveness testing and incident/issue management.

  • An important part of this role is also supporting the Data Risk Manager in terms of co-ordinating business projects and operations related to data management requirements (for example, data disposal operations to meet regulatory obligations).

What are we looking for in you?

  • Commercial experience working in data governance or data analytics field is desirable.

  • Good level of cognitive capability, data and computer literacy and learning agility.

  • Curiosity and ability to problem solve.
