  • Experience in designing and implementing Kong Enterprise solutions, translating high-level architecture to low level design and include technical details.
  • Well versed with integrating Kong and OKTA for authentication and identity management, including hands-on use of Kong’s OIDC plugins.
  • Skilled at configuring Kong Konnect and Kong Dedicated Gateway, including networking and connectivity.
  • Experienced in writing and updating guidelines and best practices for using Kong, especially around security and integration.
  • Comfortable working closely with engineers, security, and operations teams to deliver, secure, and monitor the platform.
  • Able to clearly communicate technical designs and decisions to developers and architects.
  • Has supported security, performance, and readiness testing for production environments.
  • Keeps up to date with trends in API management, cloud security, and identity integration.
