Join the Team
As a Data Analyst of our Application Consolidation and Decommissioning Program, you will be responsible for supporting a large-scale technology optimisation and application rationalisation program.

This role will focus on identifying opportunities to retire legacy applications, infrastructure, and technology assets while supporting data-driven decision-making across multiple stakeholders.

In this role, you will:

  • Analyse discovery scan outputs, CMDB data, infrastructure inventories, and application registers to identify decommissioning opportunities and support technical assessments.
  • Review application, server, database, and infrastructure information to develop recommendations and inform decision-making.
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, presentations, and governance materials to communicate findings and progress.
  • Engage with ICT teams, application owners, and stakeholders to validate data, assessment outcomes, and decommissioning activities.
  • Support benefits reporting, hardware audits, asset reviews, data quality improvements, and application decommissioning initiatives.

About You
To be successful in this role you’ll need:

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience analysing large, complex datasets to identify trends and insights.
  • Ability to interpret technical infrastructure, application, and asset management data, with knowledge of application lifecycle management and decommissioning processes highly regarded.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders and present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with CMDBs, asset management or discovery tools, and reporting technologies such as Power BI, SQL, or PowerShell; experience in healthcare, government, or large enterprise ICT environments is advantageous.
