About the Team
Our national Insurance & Health practice combines deep industry knowledge with local expertise and the highest standards of client service. Our team of more than 200 specialist lawyers has the depth of experience and agility to help our clients, both in Australia and overseas, to navigate the complex risk landscape and support their insureds.

About the Role
An engaging opportunity awaits you as a Senior Associate in our Insurance team in Sydney. We offer a range of complex, high value defence and coverage matters with a focus on construction, property, statutory liability and professional indemnity matters. You’ll collaborate with a large team of specialists in their field headed up by Thomas Byrne and Simon Black – principals who are committed to empowering you and your career progression.

About You
If the following sounds like you, we would love to hear from you:

  • you have at least 4 years of experience in the defendant insurance space with a focus on defence and coverage matters involving construction, property, statutory liability and/or professional indemnity claims;
  • you can efficiently manage your own file load;
  • you enjoy building client relationships and achieving excellent outcomes;
  • you are a problem-solver who values collaboration and understands the importance of strong working relationships.
