About the team:
The Portfolio Management and Assurance (PMA) group supports DCS to achieve best value from its investment in program initiatives and Guide and support projects and programs from idea stage through to close out and benefits realisation, helping to deliver them in a best practice way and achieve their intended outcomes and benefits.
About the role:
The Project Officer role will support Portfolio Management and Assurance (PMA) office where you’ll work closely with PMA director and the wider leadership team on governance, reporting, and coordination. Great exposure, flexibility, and a chance to build skills within PMA.
About You:
This role would be well suited to someone who is organised, detail-oriented and enjoys coordinating activities, working with a variety of stakeholders.
In addition, you may bring:
- Experience in project coordination, administration, program support, or similar roles
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Experience preparing documentation such as reports, briefs, meeting papers
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work across teams
- Experience supporting governance processes, meetings or working groups
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and support multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience using tools such as SharePoint, project tracking tools, or similar systems
Salary Grade Clerk 7/8, with the base salary for this role starting at $116981 base plus superannuation
