Your New Role
The Property Team originates, executes, and manages a diverse $11.5 billion global portfolio across sectors such as commercial, retail, industrial, and living, with a strong focus on ESG, innovation, and delivering risk-adjusted returns for members.
With growing investments across Australia, Europe, the US, and Asia, the team is committed to performance, cost-effective execution, and exploring emerging sectors to stay at the forefront of the industry. Joining the team as an Analyst, you can expect an exceptional breadth of experience that blends direct with indirect investment, and engagement across our portfolio. You will:
- Support due diligence processes for property investments across Asia Pacific and North America to align with Aware Super’s strategic objectives.
- Assist in the asset management of direct property investments, working closely with senior team members to optimize investment performance.
- Contribute to financial analysis, market research, and investment reporting to inform decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-regional teams to ensure consistent execution of investment strategies and operational standards.
- Provide support on due diligence and asset management activities for European property investments as required.
How do you exceed our expectations?
- The idea of being part of our growth is exciting and you want to play a pivotal role in making super simple.
- You will ideally bring 3 years’ experience in a property-oriented investment role with a high direct investment or co-investment component
- Excellent financial modelling and analytical skills and outstanding written and verbal communication/presentation delivery skills
- You will have strong proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, underpinned by analytical, technical, and problem-solving capabilities.
- A proven track record of ethical behaviour, teamwork, adaptability across disciplines, and a strong focus on service excellence and business outcomes.
- Possesses a global network, strong references, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to tailor communication and proposals for diverse audiences.
- You are balanced in accepting risk in any decision you face. You are curious to understand risk context and choose to speak up as we simplify, learn and grow.
