What this opportunity involves:
As an Assistant Property Manager at JLL, you'll play a vital role in supporting our head office-based Property Managers to deliver exceptional property management services across diverse portfolios. This position sits within our Property and Asset Management business unit, reporting directly to the Portfolio Manager in our Perth Head Office. You'll work closely with clients, retailers, and JLL teams both locally and nationally to ensure seamless operations. At JLL, we are collectively shaping a brighter way — for our clients, ourselves and our fellow employees — and this role is central to that mission. Your contributions will span financial administration, tenant relations, lease management, and day-to-day operational support. We embrace more innovative ways of working and prioritize opportunities to strengthen and advance your career, making this an ideal position for someone eager to grow within the property management sector while developing strong technical and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities include:
Assist with the preparation of budgets, outgoings recoveries, forecasts, and financial reports to support portfolio performance tracking
Prepare monthly reports and maintain accurate documentation across multiple properties
Issue purchase orders and set up contracts within JLL systems, ensuring compliance and accuracy
Monitor rental arrears daily, actively pursue outstanding payments, and allocate rental income appropriately
Support the rent review process and raise sundry charges as required
Process accounts payable invoices in a timely manner, ensuring correct coding and resolving contractor queries
Assist with the production of tenant tax invoices and complete portfolio reconciliations
Liaise professionally with contractors, tenants, and property owners to address queries and maintain strong relationships
Undertake lease administration duties, including completion of tenancy set-up forms and collection of sales data for system input

Excellent computer skills across all Microsoft Office applications, with strong Excel capabilities essential
Previous accounts payable and receivable experience
Previous experience in property management or a related field is highly desirable
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with exceptional attention to detail

Demonstrated capacity to work effectively under pressure and handle conflicting demands
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Team player mindset with a collaborative approach to achieving shared goals
