Psychologist – Contractor Position

Supernova Medical Centre is seeking a motivated, compassionate and suitably qualified Psychologist to join our growing multidisciplinary medical team on a contractor basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a psychologist looking to build their private practice within an established medical centre, with opportunities to receive referrals from our General Practitioners and other healthcare professionals.

About the Role

• Work as an independent contractor on a flexible schedule.
• Provide psychological assessments, counselling and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
• Manage a diverse range of patients, including adults, adolescents and families.
• Support patients with anxiety, depression, stress, relationship difficulties and other mental health concerns.
• Work collaboratively with GPs and other allied health professionals.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and comply with professional standards.

Essential Requirements

• Recognised qualification in Psychology.
• Current AHPRA registration as a Psychologist.
• Professional indemnity insurance.
• Appropriate Medicare provider number (or eligibility to obtain one).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as a contractor.
