About the Position
We are excited to welcome a Psychologist to our Nambour Integrated Therapy Services team! Join a warm, supportive, and collaborative multi-disciplinary team dedicated to improving outcomes for children and families across Nambour and surrounding communities. In this role, you'll deliver trauma-informed psychological care that helps children feel safe, understood, and empowered to heal and thrive. This is an opportunity to be part of a service that values connection, compassion, and the meaningful impact you can have in the lives of others.
- Level 6 SCHCADS Award.
- Salary range: $115,340 – $120,441 + Superannuation.
- Full-time, permanent opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create meaningful change – deliver trauma-informed, evidence-based therapy that supports children and families to reach their full potential.
- Work as one team – collaborate with psychologists, speech pathologists, OTs and counsellors to achieve integrated, holistic outcomes.
- Support beyond the session – strengthen caregiver relationships and community connections to drive lasting therapeutic impact.
- Shape stronger futures – use assessments, goal-focused interventions and partnerships to help children recover, grow and thrive.
About You
- Tertiary qualifications in Psychology with current national registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA (essential), and membership with the Australian Psychological Society (desirable).
- At least two (2) years’ experience working with children, young people and their families who have been impacted by trauma or experienced abuse and neglect, or at least two (2) years’ experience working in similar roles.
- Experience providing individual and group therapy to children, young people and their families.
- Eligibility to work in Australia (proof of eligibility required), including holding or obtaining required checks (Working with Children Check or professional exemption, NDIS worker screening check).
- Current driver’s licence.
