Position Details
Role Title: EAP Counsellor
Location: Devonport, TAS
Role Type: Contractor - 2 days a week available
About You
- Tertiary Qualification in Rehabilitation Counselling, Counselling, Social Work or Masters in Psychology
- Registered with ASORC, PACFA, ACA, AASW or AHPRA
- Experience providing counselling, EAP, workplace wellbeing, or mental health services
- Professional indemnity insurance
- ABN and ability to work as an independent contractor
Join Senda Psychology as a Contractor and provide confidential short-term counselling and wellbeing support through our Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
You'll work with individuals experiencing personal, work-related, or psychological concerns, delivering evidence-based, solution-focused interventions that help improve wellbeing, resilience, and recovery.
- Assess client needs, identify key issues, and deliver evidence-based therapeutic strategies, psychoeducation, and practical coping techniques
- Support wellbeing, resilience and recovery through solution-focused interventions
- Maintain professional, ethical and confidentiality standards in all client interactions.
- Complete accurate and timely case notes and records within VINCI.
- Manage billing requirements and provide accurate itemised invoices for services delivered.
