Full job description
We're excited to welcome a Radiographer- Graduate to our Medical Imaging Team.
As a Radiographer within the Medical Imaging Service, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, base-level imaging services as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team. In alignment with the goals and standards of Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service and Queensland Health, you will contribute to effective healthcare delivery and support accurate diagnosis and treatment. Your commitment to excellence will help ensure every patient receives safe, timely, and compassionate care.
Sunshine Coast Health is a values-based organisation. We are committed to the maintenance of a culture in which we treat our colleagues with respect as we do our patients, consumers and the community. We respect, protect and promote human rights in our decision-making and actions.
Key Responsibilities include:
Demonstrate competent knowledge, expertise and skill in the provision of Radiography services commensurate with a level which meets the Professional Capabilities as set out by the Medical Radiation Practitioner Board of Australia (MRPBA). For complex or novel cases, you will seek direction from clinical seniors as appropriate.
Maintain appropriate documentation and patient records in line with Departmental, Unit and Health Service procedures, and contribute to the maintenance of accurate and timely information systems (statistics collection, quality data). Ensure that time spent across clinical and non-clinical work is in keeping with assigned requirements.
Participate in quality and service improvement activities to continually improve patient/client care, including the development of clinical practices, procedures, and protocols within the work environment.
Commit to ongoing professional, service, and individual development through participation in professional development activities. Provide clinical practice and operational supervision to under-graduate students, less experienced practitioners, as well as Medical Imaging Assistants.
Remuneration value up to $132 567 p.a. , comprising salary between $80 015 - $116 189 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP3.1) (Fixed term temporary full-time positions available for 12 months). Applications will remain current for the duration of the vacancy. Please note: only applications from candidates will be accepted (applications that may result in an agency fee will not be considered).
