About the role

We are currently seeking a Full-Time Dental Receptionist / Dental Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team.

This is a dynamic dual role that combines front reception responsibilities with chairside dental assisting. You will play an important part in ensuring our patients receive outstanding care from the moment they walk through our doors.

We are looking for someone who is warm, compassionate, energetic, and professional, with a genuine passion for helping people and creating positive patient experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Front Reception

  • Be the first point of contact for our patients
  • Greet and welcome patients with a friendly and professional manner
  • Answer phone enquiries and manage appointment bookings
  • Confirm appointments and assist with recall management
  • Process payments using EFTPOS and HICAPS
  • Manage patient records and customer accounts
  • Assist with the day-to-day running of the front office

Dental Assisting

  • Provide chairside support to our dentists
  • Prepare treatment rooms and maintain clinical standards
  • Assist in delivering a smooth and comfortable patient experience
  • Work closely with the clinical team to support efficient practice operations

About You

The successful applicant will be able to multitask in the practice and work closely with the clinical team, possess excellent interpersonal communication skills and be committed to providing excellent patient care. You will play a key role towards the ongoing success of our practice.

Our practice operates Monday to Saturday, with opening hours varying between 8:00am and 7:00pm.

The successful applicant will be flexible and available to work within these hours, including one late evening shift per week as required.
